Connect your Bronto account with Lexer
Bronto is an email marketing platform within the Oracle , with a focus on email, SMS, in-app and web push marketing communications. In this article, we'll walk you through connecting your Bronto account with Lexer to create enriched identity profiles, and send lists of segmented customers for email and SMS activations.

How do I integrate my account?
When integrating your Bronto account Lexer requires access to both the REST and SOAP APIs. This will require you setting up two API users within your Bronto account, then entering the necessary keys, secrets, and tokens within Integrate in Lexer.
- Follow these instructions to create your REST API user account.
- Follow these instructions to create your SOAP API user account.
Be sure to give Lexer READ and WRITE access when prompted. We also recommend naming each user account Lexer so you can find them again easily if you need to.
Adding Bronto to Lexer


Select the Bronto tile, and click Integrate Bronto account, then enter your Bronto account name, REST API Key & Secret, and SOAP API Token & Secret, then click Save Integration.
The final step
Once you've added your Bronto account credentials to the Bronto tile in the Hub, please contact your Success Manager, or Lexer Support ([email protected]) to complete your Bronto set up and configuration.

Connecting your Bronto account with Lexer allows you to create new lists, and update existing ones and enrich your customer data in Bronto.
Send a Segment to Bronto
Next, we’ll guide you through sending a Segment from Lexer to Bronto, using Lexer Activate.
Before you get started, make sure you’ve done the following:
- Integrated your Bronto account with Lexer.
- Created an activation to Bronto (reach out to Lexer Support ([email protected]) if not).
- Build your Segment/s in Lexer Segment.
How do I activate to a new list in Bronto?


- Click Activate New Audience.
- Select the appropriate Bronto account for this Activation.
- Add your Segment(s).
- Update the audience name, this will become your new list’s name.
- Set the list to auto-update if needed.
- Set the appropriate list action. In most cases, leave it on Maintain list.
- Agree to terms, and click Send Audience.
How do activate and update a list in Bronto?


- Click Activate New Audience.
- Select the appropriate Bronto account for this Activation.
- Add your Segment(s).
- Update the audience name as required, this will only be visible in Lexer Activate.
- Using the drop-down, select the list you would like to update.
- Set the appropriate list action. In most cases, leave it on Maintain list.
- Agree to terms, and click Send Audience.
Set and forget — auto-updating audiences
Lexer Activate permits you to automatically update your audiences within Bronto. With this selected, Lexer will add or remove customers from your audience as they enter and leave your Segment.
Okay I’ve sent my audience, what next?
The moment your activation has been confirmed as sent in Activate, you’ll see records begin to update in Bronto. We’ll send you an email to let you know once an audience has been sent – the time this takes will vary, depending on the size of the audience.
