Accessing Lexer behind a firewall
All of Lexer’s products are web-based applications. This means all of your access is made through web browsers. The data that reaches the web browsers on your work network (be it your desktop or your mobile) is often filtered first through your organization’s corporate firewall. Your firewall governs which websites and services are trusted or secure.
Sometimes our applications are not considered trusted by firewalls, particularly when a new client comes onboard. Your network has never accessed us before, and is still unsure about who we are and what our applications do.
Some symptoms of firewall issues include the platform not loading; some images not loading; fonts not loading; normal searches and dives taking a considerable amount of time, or slower than you would expect; and regularly seeing search errors.
Depending on your security settings, you may be in a very locked down environment. For Lexer to work correctly, please pass this list of URLs to whitelist to your IT Team:
Whitelisting will add our domains, and the domains of our providers, to the list of trusted websites within your firewall.
