Send an email list to Vero

In this article, we’ll guide you in sending Identities from Lexer to Vero, to update existing lists within Vero.

What is a Vero activation?

Vero is a social media platform, where you can choose your audience intuitively for each post you send. Lexer marries nicely with this feature, allowing you build custom audiences (Tribes) in Lexer Identify, and securely send customer data from Lexer to Vero - delivering the right content, to the right people, at the right time.

How do I activate to Vero?

First, you’ll need to Integrate your Vero account. Once your account has been integrated, reach out to Lexer Support to create an Activation for you (this won’t take long).

Next, head over to Identify, and build your Tribe. Once your Tribe is ready, and your activation has been created, head to Lexer Activate.

  1. Click Activate New Audience
  2. Select the appropriate Vero account for this Activation
  3. Add your Tribe
  4. Update the audience name (if necessary)
  5. Check the appropriate audience action. In most cases, you’ll want to maintain your audience
  6. Select which Attributes you’d like to export to Vero Properties in the list
  7. Agree to terms, and click Send Audience

Set and forget - auto-updating audiences

Lexer Activate permits you to automatically update your audiences within Vero. With this selected, Lexer will add or remove customers from your audience, as customers enter and leave your Tribe.

Okay I’ve sent my audience, what next?

The moment your activation has been confirmed as sent in Activate, you’ll see records begin to update in Vero. We’ll send you an email to let you know once an audience has been sent - the time this takes will vary, depending on the size of the audience.
