Serve settings: Attributes

The Attributes tab allows you to customize which Attributes are displayed in the customer search results and on the customer profile. There are two sections Attributes and Search results

Attributes

The first section refers to the attributes displayed in a customer profile. These attributes show you important customer details at a glance. Using these with segments (read about Serve Segments here) should give your Sales Associates insights into the purchasing behavior of their customer, allowing them to provide really powerful personalized recommendations.

For example, you might want to include First order date, Last order date, and Store locations. This information would tell you how long the customer has been purchasing from your company, when they last purchased, and where they usually shop.

These show up as a scrollable section underneath the segments at the top of the screen.

The attributes will be displayed in the order they are added. You can add up to 10 attributes.

Search results

Search results allow you to adjust the attributes that are shown in the customer search. These attributes are marked with icons that match their attribute types. This adds a touch of anonymity while you're browsing through your customer base. It's a nifty way to keep things organized and easily recognizable. In the example below, we have configured Email, Last Order Date, Items Ordered, and Postcode as attributes to display in our search results.

The attributes will be displayed in the order they are added. You can add 4 attributes that will be visible in the customer search.
