How to use the Campaigns Opened attribute
The “Campaign” series of attributes provides you with some great tools to measure the impact of your marketing communications on certain audiences. These are usually recorded through MarTech integrations such as ActiveCampaign, Emarsys, or Klaviyo, but you can find our full list of integrations here.
Campaigns Opened refers to whether a profile engages with your communications by opening the campaign. For example, you might send an email to a customer that contains an awesome new deal. If they open the email to view the deal, a [.code]campaigns_opened[.code] event can be recorded. Most companies collect this data using their preferred MarTech integration. This can then be used within the CDP to enrich the profile with the Campaigns Ppened attribute.
When you activate a campaign the profiles that are impacted by the change will have several campaign attributes attached to their profile. One of these attributes will be the Campaign Opened attribute (shown above) which will list all of the campaigns the profile has opened.
