Using the First Order: Date attribute in segments
The First Order: Date attribute is handy to use when you want to see how many new customers you've acquired during a specific date range.
For example, you may want to see how many new customers you've acquired in the last 7, or 30, days. Or maybe you want to see how many you acquired during a promotional period.
To do so, navigate to Understand > Segment and then add the First Order: Date attribute to the PROFILES MUST HAVE ALL OF THESE section of the builder.
Now you can add your date filter. Let's say you want to see newly acquired customers during a particular promotional period.
Hover over the attribute and click the > symbol. Then select Between and add your chosen dates.
When you hit Search you'll find all profiles who made their first order during your selected dates.
If you want to find all new customers from the last 30 days, then all you have to do is go back and change your filters. Select In The Last and then add 30 days.
