How to use the Average Spend Per Product attribute for analysis
If you want to know more about your customers' spending and purchasing habits, then using the Average Spend Per Product attribute is a great way to gain extra insights.
For example, you may want to see the Average Spend Per Product across all your customers. To do so:
- Search for the All Customers segment and add it to the Segment Builder.
- Hit Search.
- Then, under Explore Attributes filter for Average Spend Per Product.
If you click into this attribute and scroll down to SUMMARY STATISTICS, you'll see the average for this segment of customers.
You can check this for any segment though, using the same instructions above.
If you'd like to compare two segments and their Average Spend Per Product against each other, then you can do this too!
Simply navigate to Compare > Segment, and then add your segments to the comparison. Click Generate Comparison and you'll get your results.
Then you can search for Average Spend Per Product and see the differences (or similarities) between the two segments you've chosen.
