Connecting your Tall Bob account

Tall Bob is an SMS and marketing engagement platform. In this article, we'll show you how you can use Lexer with Tall Bob to sync customer segments from your CDP into Tall Bob for consistent segment communications across all your channels.

Getting your Tall Bob integration ID

When connecting Lexer and Tall Bob, you are connecting to a secure server hosted by Tall Bob. All you need to do to join your Lexer hub with your Tall Bob account is find your unique Tall Bob integration ID. To find your integration ID, log into your Tall Bob account and navigate to SETTINGS > INTEGRATIONS.

Connecting Lexer and Tall Bob

First, you'll need to navigate to MANAGE > INTEGRATIONS.

1. Find the Tall Bob tile.
2. Click INTEGRATE TALL BOB.
3. Paste your unique INTEGRATION ID.
4. Add all groups/teams who need access.
5. Click SAVE INTEGRATION.

Your account is now connected!

Sending data to Tall Bob

When you send data to Tall Bob you are sending a file similar to a CSV. By default, it will contain the following fields.

Activating a segment to Tall Bob

When you're ready to send a segment to Tall Bob navigate to ENGAGE > ACTIVATE.

1. Click NEW ACTIVATION.
2. Pick your Tall Bob configuration.
3. Pick your Segment.
4. Set your audience name.
   1. Note: This will become the name of your Group (Segment) in Tall Bob.
5. Check ONGOING ACTIVATION if you want to maintain this Group in Tall Bob.
6. Check the options, and click RUN ACTIVATION.

Your audience will now be sent to Tall Bob and should process within a short period of time.
